National Health Care Spending in 2022: Growth Similar to Prepandemic Rates

Health care spending in the U.S. grew 4.1 percent in 2022, a faster growth rate than the 3.2 percent increase in 2021, but much slower than the rate of 10.6 percent seen in 2020.
